Stonebarn, Pemberton http://www.stonebarn.com.au/
A stunning location for a wedding.
When I asked the Bride how many places that they had looked at and seen before deciding on the venue, the answer was one. They knew what they wanted. They wanted to be married in a forest, and that’s exactly what they got.
Stonebarn has virtually no cellphone reception. It is located over 300kms from Perth (in the South West Manjimup region), just outside of Pemberton. It offers “accommodation for 16 with breathtaking views of the forest and river with an on-site 2,000+ tree truffiére”.
It’s a large barn, with multiple seating areas and a fully equipped kitchen. I have never stayed somewhere self-catering where there has been quite so many things! It even comes with a pizza oven and braai (bbq).
The rooms are all en-suite with the upstairs rooms being larger, having air conditioning and a balcony over looking the forest and dam. The linen is of quality and the beds incredibly comfortable. A TV is provided in each room.
Stonebarn cannot be rented per room- the whole place must be rented.
There are lots of walks to take within the area, with never a dull moment.
